Just in Time for Spring Break – Beach Reading!

Looking for a great beach read for spring break?

If you’re like me, I’d much rather read light, romantic stories when I’m relaxing under that big umbrella on the sand. That’s why I’ve decided to run BOTH of my books on a special Spring Break / Beach Read sale starting Sunday, March 15th!

Book 1While You’re Here is set in Franklin, Tennessee, and features two older adults who start out as adversaries, but ultimately find common ground… will their relationship last?

An Early Snowbird is set in Destin, Florida, during the Christmas season, and features a widow who attempts to escape what has become nothing more than a lonely reminder of all that she has lost. When she strikes a bargain with handsome widower Paul, will she manage to survive the holidays without losing her heart?

Grab your copies of both starting Sunday, March 15th!

While You’re Here Goes On Sale Wednesday, January 28th

Just a quick post to let you know that the Kindle edition of  While You’re Here  will go on a limited time sale for only $.99 beginning January 28th!

When Evie Bradley agreed to fly to Franklin, Tennessee, to help her recently divorced daughter, Alex, out with childcare while she was tied up with an important legal case, Evie wasn’t expecting anything more than to spend a little time with her family.

Then, she met James McGavick, the arrogant man who lived next door…at first, the only sparks that flew between Evie and James were over the children, but it wasn’t long before there were sparks of an entirely different kind flying between them, and while Evie found herself falling hard and fast for James, he’d made it clear that he was only interested in enjoying the time they were spending together “while you’re still here.”

Could she spend time with the handsome widower strictly on his terms? Would she be able to just walk away when the time came to go back to Connecticut? Or would she go home with a broken heart?

While You’re Here is part of a new genre in romance… Instead of the usual twenty something heroine,  you’ll find mature adults in real life situations, faced with all of the twists, the turns, the choices, and the excess baggage that comes from a lifetime of living.   I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Romance for older adults!

While You’re Here

First in a new writing genre, While You’re Here focuses on the lives of two adults in their sixties who ultimately meet and gradually fall in love.   You’ll love the fact that these two have all of the insecurities, the baggage, and the life experiences that one would expect with older people… it’s not a fairy tale romance, instead you’ll find While You’re Here believable!

Here’s the blurb from the back cover:

Christmas in Destin: An Early Snowbird

Christmas is such a magical time of year… what better time of year is there to fall in love?

When Abby Donovan decided to escape the looming holiday season and spend Christmas in Destin, Florida, she didn’t expect to find anything other than the peace and tranquility that had been absent from her life since the death of her husband, David, three years before.

She definitely wasn’t expecting to meet Paul Kirkland, or to be swiftly and certainly swept off her feet… was this simply a casual fling that would end when Abby and Paul returned to their homes after their vacations ended, or was it the beginning of something more?
